Hey y'all! Since the month of December finally started, I can do holiday themed nails! Woohoo ☺
As you can probably tell, I've done a holly/mistletoe design (you can also probably tell it was my first attempt). It's actually very rare that I do a design on all of my nails, I'm mainly an accent nail kind of girl because let's face it, I don't have the patience... unless, of course, the nail art is as simple as this!
My base color is Zoya's "Seraphina" from their latest Holiday 2013 collection. I freaking love this polish, and although I'm really digging this nail art, I almost wish I would have let Seraphina keep the spotlight to herself for a little while. And I apologize for the lighting,I really wish the sun would come out and allow the true beauty of this color to shine. Oh well... that's Florida for ya'!
Anywho, all I used for this design were two different sized dotting tools. I used a larger one to make the holly berries, and a smaller one to create the leaves. Basically all I did for the leaves was place a dot and drag it out, slightly releasing pressure as I did so in order to create the thinner points of the leaves. And that's it! Super simple, right?
Happy Holidays! ♡
